Specsavers in Brixton store has donated 200 vests to two schools in aid of Road Safety Week.
The two schools – Harris Primary in Croydon and Hamsey Green Primary in Surrey - are close to the hearts of staff members whose children attend them.
Both staff members wanted to utilise the initiative to spread the message of road safety.

Road Safety Week – which takes place from 17th to 23rd November – was started by the national road safety charity, Brake.
The charity promotes safe road use via campaigns in a bid to prevent deaths and injuries.With fundraising activities Brake are able to support victims of road accidents and injuries.

Director of the Brixton store, Brian Simpson said: ‘Road Safety Week is such an important cause and we were more than happy to get involved.
'Evenings are getting darker it’s more important than ever to ensure children are safe. I know the two schools that our staff member’s children attend will be put to good use.’
