Specsavers in Brixham has given 70 vests to local brownies, rainbows and guides clubs.
Staying safe in Brixham at night
The Brixham Rainbows, Brixham Brownies and St Mary's Guides received the vests so that they could be more safe at night, thanks to Specsavers, located on 47 Fore Street.
High visibility vests
Paula Shand, District Commissioner of Brixham Girl Guiding says: ‘We’re very thankful to Specsavers for providing our children with these high visibility vests.
‘The safety of our children is incredibly important to us. These vests will allow them to walk safely in the dark, as well as be visible to cars on outings.’
Keeping children safe on trips
Specsavers store director, Chibuzor Rogers-Uwadi says: ‘We want to make sure that children are safe and visible at night.
‘We hope our donation will help keep parents’ minds at ease when their children are out on trips.’
