The sky definitely will be the limit next week as a member of staff from Specsavers in Filton takes part in a charity sky dive to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity.
Siobhan Fairgreaves, 23, will be travelling to Honiton in Devon on Wednesday 24 May to jump out of a plane and raise money for the charity having witnessed first-hand the impact a brain tumour can have after a relative was diagnosed with one.
‘I’ll be jumping at 15,000 feet which is a pretty daunting prospect,’ said Siobhan.
Last minute push
‘I’m really grateful for all the support I’ve received so far which has helped me raise nearly £400 of my £500 target and with under a week to go I’m hoping for a last minute push to get me over the line.
'I’m crossing my fingers for some good weather and while it’s certainly a scary prospect, I’m also excited.’
