Last week, the team at Specsavers in Filton welcomed in new Disney Vintage frames. Staff had lots of fun celebrating the launch of the latest children’s specs.
It’s been 90 years since Mickey made his first appearance for Disney in November 1928. The vintage designs for kids are a celebration of the character’s 90th birthday. Children can choose from round-eye frames or classic shapes in acetate plastic or satin metal, all featuring the well-known personality.
The frames come with lenses featuring UV protection and a special Mickey Mouse glasses case.
A word from the store director
Store director at Specsavers Filton, Ed Stanleigh, said: ‘The retro appeal of these glasses is a draw for parents and children alike.
‘Anything we can do to make glasses wearing more exciting for children is a real plus, and these designs will raise a smile.’
