Design students in Sussex could see their work come to life thanks to a new competition run by Specsavers and leading fashion brand Red or Dead.
And those lucky students, or recent graduates, could win £2000 – as well as be able to see their design in store in 2019.
Embracing new talent
A new collection will contain styles from up to six winning designers – and will be showcased in Specsavers stores across the UK and Ireland, and online.
But budding eyewear designers will have to be quick, as the competition closes on Thursday 26 April 2018.

A brilliant opportunity
Andrew Wallbank, store director at Specsavers Brighton, said: ‘This competition is a brilliant opportunity for design students – or recent graduates – to let their imagination run wild and create a cutting edge new pair of glasses.
‘There are some rules of course. The finished product must meet industry standards and be functional as well as stylish – and winners will be supported to make sure this is the case. But this really is a great chance for a young designer to be noticed – and to win a great cash prize too.’
