Specsavers in Brighton has helped children to stay safe this winter by making a special donation.

Specsavers donated high-visibility vests to a local scout and beaver groups to raise awareness of road safety.

Good use

Specsavers store director, Mike Horler says: ‘After speaking to group leaders and parents, we all agreed that the children would benefit from a vest donation and as a community focused store we were delighted to be able to help. We are sure the vests will be put to good use.’

Reduced visibility

Now the clocks have changed and the nights are getting darker, motorists’ visibility can be significantly reduced. The store made the donation of the vests to ensure that children – and their parents – feel safe when they’re out and about over the next few months.
