The team at Specsavers in Brighouse have raised over £70 for charity after holding a raffle in store.
The money was raised for charity British Heart Foundation, whose mission is to win the fight against cardiovascular disease and to live in a world in which people do not die prematurely or suffer from heart disease.
The raffle was open to both the team and customers visiting in-store, and the lucky winner was Amanda Waudby, who won a gift hamper full of sweets and treats.
A word from the store director
Gareth Hart, store director at Specsavers in Brighouse, said: ‘£70 is a great amount to raise, and I want to thank our customers for donating to such a worthy cause.
‘Well done to winner Amanda, and thank you also to my team for organising the raffle whilst working so hard in our busy store.’
The money raised from the Brighouse store’s raffle will go towards funding cutting edge research, which has already made a big difference to people’s lives.
