Specsavers in Bridgwater was a sea of pink as staff dressed up and raised over £200 for Breast Cancer Care.
On Tuesday 28 October, Specsavers, located at 3 Royal Clarence House on the High Street, invited people to the store to taste some homemade cakes and try their luck at a ‘guess how many frames in the Vision Aid Overseas box’ competition.
Staff also put their pedalling skills to the test as they took to an exercise bike to encourage donations for the charity.
Support from the Bridgwater community
Store director Andrew Cullerne says: ‘We wanted to do our pink day just a bit differently.
‘The staff did a fantastic job encouraging people to donate and we wanted to share our support for Breast Cancer Care with our Bridgwater community. It’s vital that we continue to raise money to help thousands of people across the UK.’
