Staff hosted a fun day on Saturday 20 September as they celebrated the store’s seventh birthday.
Visitors were offered complementary sweet treats and a stilt walker entertained passers-by throughout the day. As a thank you to their customers, the store offered 25% off glasses during the week, as well as holding a raffle for one lucky customer to win a designer pair of specs.
‘We were really excited to celebrate our seventh birthday,’ said Teresa Hughes, store director. ‘The support customers have shown us over the years has been incredible, so we wanted to do something to say thank you’.
In its seven years at the heart of the community, Specsavers has supported many local people and charities. The store next plans to donate high visibility jackets to local school children during Road Safety Week (17-23 November), helping them to stay safe as the nights begin to get darker.
