Members of staff from Specsavers in Bradley Stoke hosted a cake sale on Saturday 5 May and raised £187.38 for CLIC Sargent.
The team channelled their inner bakers and offered delicious sweet and chocolatey treats to customers and passers-by in return for donations.
A word from the store director
Store director, Gaurav Patel, said: ‘We’d like to say a big thanks to our generous and loyal community, who always make great efforts to support us at our fundraising events.’
Specsavers in Cribbs Causeway, Bradley Stoke and Filton have joined together to nominate CLIC Sargent as their charity of the year for 2018. In a bid to raise as much money as possible for the children’s cancer charity, staff are taking part in a number of fundraising challenges and events throughout the year.
A good cause
CLIC Sargent provides practical, financial and emotional support for children and teenagers who have been diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia. The charity believes that children with cancer have the right to the best possible treatment, care and support throughout their cancer journey and beyond.
