Keen to get front line experience
Samrina, who lives in Slough, is thrilled to get first-hand experience at Specsavers. She is enjoying shadowing the opticians and observing the whole customer journey experience - from when a customer comes in for an eye examination right through to collecting their frames.
In her own words
Samrina says: 'There are many different elements to running a successful opticians and it's great insight to see how everyone works together to give the customer a seamless experience.
'The eye examination is just as important as helping a customer select a pair of frames that they feel comfortable in, and that the quality is excellent too thanks to the hard work of the lab technicians who glaze lenses behind the scenes. Coming to Specsavers in Bracknell has reinforced my belief that I've chosen the right career for my future.'
