Retail director, Andreas Booth, is asking Boscombe residents to look in drawers, office desks and other hiding places for old, unwanted frames.

What old frames can do for people in need

Charity, Vision Aid Overseas is an organisation that trains individuals and builds vision centres in developing countries to bring the gift of vision to those in need.

By training up optometrists, their funding helps to bring eye health services to isolated and remote communities.

The money that funds this great work comes from recycled glasses and unwanted frames.

Simply drop your glasses off to the collection point in the Boscombe store and feel good with the knowledge that you are playing your small part in helping those less fortunate.

A word from Andrea

'Boscombe customers and residents have always been very generous with their donations but there may well be many more people out there who are unaware of our collection point for Vision Aid Overseas.

'We want to thank everyone who has supported the charity over the years and hope to keep us this momentum in the following years to come.'
