Specsavers Bognor Regis helped its customers get in the summer spirit while raising funds for good causes by taking part in the annual Bognor Regis Carnival this month.
Staff from the business were out in force to support the event on 10 June, which celebrates the best of Bognor Regis and its community.
Fun in the sun
Store director Jonathan West, senior optical assistant Ben Chiffin and merchandiser Tina Foard were on hand during the celebrations to offer free gifts to residents and visitors.
The team gave away more than 500 glasses cases containing cleaning sprays and £5 eye test vouchers, as well as handing out more than 300 beach balls and Frisbees and sticks of Specsavers-branded rock.
They also took part in the Bognor Regis Carnival Parade, with a Specsavers-branded car and the Specsavers Big Ear mascot joining an Around the World-themed procession of floats travelling along the Esplanade.
Specsavers Bognor Regis spent the day collecting money for the Bognor Regis Carnival Association, which will be used to support local initiatives and future social events in Bognor Regis.
Jonathan West says: ‘The day was so much fun and really made us feel that we were more in touch with the community. We will be definitely getting involved again next year.’
