Specsavers Bodmin would like to thank all customers and staff for their overwhelming support for the Pirate FM and the Cornwall Baby and Birth Appeal (BABA).
Since August Specsavers on Fore Street has been collecting new teddies for Treliske Hospital in support of the new maternity and neonatal unit at Treliske Hospital, ensuring that every baby born in Cornwall gets the best start in life.
How will the teddy bears help the appeal?
The bears are going to be used as raffle prizes, in competitions and as special gifts to sick babies at the hospital. The fundraising target is £500,000 contributing towards new equipment such as a special incubator for twins.
