Three local children have been named as the lucky winners of Specsavers Bodmin’s Finding Dory themed colouring competition.
With around 40 entries and some very impressive artistic skills displayed among the youngsters the victors did exceptional well to win.
Abigail Hollamby, 5, won the Finding Dory cuddly toy, Jude Barlett, 10, took home the Finding Dory pencil case, and Pebble-Rose Dunn, 7, walked away the proud owner of a Finding Dory lunch box.
The staff chose the winners at a team training evening after much delibertation due to the high standard of the entries. In fact, the team were so excited about the competition that they decided to hold one for themselves in which supervisor Daisy Trethewey came out on top.

The competition was held to celebrate the launch of four different underwater-inspired designs, which include the much-loved characters Dory, Nemo and Hank the octopus from the hit Disney Pixar film.
Designed to ensure the best fit for young faces, the Finding Dory glasses are priced at £64 and free for under-16s with an NHS optical voucher. All come fitted with flex-hinges and scratch-resistant lenses with a UV filter making them perfect for trips to the beach. Plus children can also choose an additional free pair of frames in the Specsavers’ kids get two free pairs offer.

Jo McLean, store director, said: ‘The competition was our most successful yet and it was great to see the kids’ faces when they came back in to collect their prizes. It’s important that children take care of their eyes and Dory is such a popular character that we reckon they’ll be excited to wear them.’
