Specsavers opticians in Bletchley have been sent a selection of thank you letters from a local Rainbow Guides group after donating a batch high-visibility jackets to the girls to use during activities and outings.

Road Safety Week

The opticians donated the jackets in support of Road Safety Week to raise awareness of road safety and to promote this year’s theme, ‘Look out for each other’ by making the children visible when using the roads.

Store Director, Ekta Kotecha, said: ‘We are so glad that the girls are making the most of their high-visibility jackets and we are honoured to have received these letters of thanks. Road Safety Week is extremely important and we are proud to be able to do our part and keep the Rainbow group safe during the dark winter evenings.’

Reduce accidents

Specsavers stores supported Road Safety Week with various donation activities in a bid to reduce accidents and tragedies on UK roads.
