Specsavers has opened its doors in Bishopbriggs, creating eight new jobs and representing a £250,000 investment in the area.

Specsavers Bishopbriggs opened on Monday 18 September in The Triangle Centre on Kirkintilloch Road, providing locals with access to first class eye care and hearing services.

Expert services using latest technology

The state-of-the-art store has two test rooms featuring the latest technology and equipment. As well as offering eye care, the store will also provide a fortnightly audiology service.

The store will also have an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) machine which is a cutting-edge piece of equipment, usually found in hospital eye departments.

It is used for a variety of functions including screening and management of conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
