The Bishop Auckland store donated a large food package to their local foodbank which included some Easter treats for those in need to enjoy of the spring holiday.
The store recently called out for customers to donate Easter eggs to help treat those who are less fortunate. They also encouraged people to donate a range of other non-perishable items, on behalf of Shildon Alive foodbank and Woodhouse Close Church Community Centre.

Sean Hayes, Specsavers Bishop Auckland store director, said: ‘We would like to thank everyone who popped into the store and donated Easter eggs and other items for the foodbanks.
We were thrilled to be able to donate a large food package to help support those in need over Easter within the local community.’
