The Bideford store has celebrated a very important anniversary this month.
The store has been a constant in the town for 10 years and to mark this milestone, the store celebrated throughout the month of May and raised funds for The Little Bridge Hospice.
To commemorate the special occasion, the newly appointed Mayor and Mayoress of Bideford, Councillor Phil and Mrs Pam Pester, visited the store on the 23 May to draw the winners of the raffle, and present two members of staff with flowers. The staff members who received the flowers were Alison Sharland and Edwina Beardsmore who have both been with the store for the entire 10 years.
Jerry Shrubb, store director, said: ‘We had a great time celebrating our 10 year anniversary. It is a testament to our commitment, not only to the town, but to the customers who we’ve cared for all this time. We are really pleased that throughout the month we raised a fantastic £75 for The Little Bridge Hospice. We look forward to the next 10 years on the high street.’
