Specsavers Bicester attended the ninth annual Oxfordshire Careers Fest held at the Mini Plant in Wantage on 6 and 7 February.
The team was joined by staff from other Specsavers stores including Abingdon and Didcot who manned the stand and chatted to students and parents about Specsavers and all the optical and hearcare opportunities that are available.
A word from the store director
‘The event is open to all schools and colleges across the county so it’s the ideal chance for youngsters to consider careers that they may never have heard of or thought of before,’ said store director and optometrist, Sarah Marshall.
‘It was great to be joined by staff from other Specsavers stores too. Everyone got stuck in and enjoyed chatting to those that came up to the stand.’
The event attracted some of the county’s top employers with more than 20,000 pupils from 22 Oxfordshire schools attending. It was organised by Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP).
