Specsavers Bicester is celebrating further awards success after triumphing in the Best Business Women Awards.
Store director, Sarah Marshall, won the Best Business category in the prestigious competition which seeks to find the very best female business talent from across the UK.
A word from Sarah
‘We’re over the moon to have won this award, it’s truly a fantastic achievement for the whole team,’ said Sarah. ‘As well as the business planning side of things which is a big focus for us, we all put a huge amount of effort into making sure everyone has the best possible experience when they come through our doors. To be recognised in this way is testament to how we all work together to keep the business moving forward.’
The business world is full of talented and dedicated female entrepreneurs who not only run successful businesses but, in many cases, also juggle the needs of their families. The Best Business Women Awards are designed to recognise the achievement of those women across a wide range of business categories and is open to any female business owner UK wide.
The judges thoughts
The judges commented: ‘Sarah showcased a real pattern of carefully thought out business strategies which have been consistently executed to lead the way in a crowded market on the high street.
‘Strong evidence was also provided covering business finances which demonstrated a picture of strong growth. Great customer service was also evident – this entry certainly stood out as a true Best Business.’
So far this year the store has also won the Bicester Village Retail category at the Oxfordshire Business Awards, while being shortlisted in the everywoman in Retail Awards and in three categories in the Specsavers Excellence in Eyecare Awards. Dispensing optician, Tanja White is also currently shortlisted in the Association of Optometrists (AOP’s) Dispensing Optician of the Year award.
