Generous donations from customers visiting Specsavers Bicester have helped to raise £230 for Bardwell School.

Collected over the course of four months, Alex Gordon from the community special needs school recently came in to the store to collect the money.

A word from the store director

‘We’d like to say thank you to everyone that has made a donation,’ said store director, Satnam Johal.

‘Even if it was just some lose change, it all adds up, as has been illustrated in this case – to have raised more than £200 is just fantastic and we know that the school is hugely grateful.’

Bardwell School is a community special school for children and young adults aged between two and 19. Approximately 70 pupils attend, and the school has a strong focus on individualised, inclusive learning.
