A member of the team from Specsavers Bicester has been recognised for going above and beyond.

Dispenser, Karen McGirk was presented with a Customer First Award for the service she provided to a customer who came into the store with a pair of broken glasses. Karen was able to find a new matching frame and fit the existing lenses within half an hour late on a Friday afternoon.

The customer was so impressed with Karen’s ‘exemplary’ service that went ‘beyond my expectations completely’, he wrote to the store to say thank you.

A word from the store director

‘We are proud of the service the whole team provides to customers but it’s always extra special when someone takes the trouble to tell us,’ said store director, Satnam Johal. ‘A huge well done to Karen on achieving is award.’
