Specsavers Bicester are supporting young local artists by sponsoring the Oxfordshire Vision Strategy Group’s design competition.
To mark this year’s National Eye Health Week, 24-30 September, the Oxfordshire Vision Strategy Group is launching a poster competition for children to help raise awareness about the importance of eye health.
Open to children in the region in key stage 1 and 2, the competition is split into two age groups. The key stage 1 winner will receive a book token and the key stage 2 winner an iTunes voucher. The winning posters will also be displayed in health care settings across the county.
‘We’re delighted to be supporting this competition promoting the importance of eye health, and hope for plenty of eye-catching entries,’ said Sarah Marshall, store director.
Posters need to be A4 sized and must be themed around eye health. The closing date is 1 June 2018, with the winners announced in the summer term.
