Staff at Specsavers in Bexleyheath are celebrating the success of their fellow colleagues who are moving up the ranks.
Victoria Wightman and Mathew Pinckney have both passed exams in optical dispensing. 31-year-old Victoria from Bexleyheath, and 27-year-old Mathew from Welling both worked as optical assistants and have worked at the store for two and a half, and three years respectively. Victoria worked as a supervisor before passing her exams to become a dispensing optician and Mathew, as well as passing his cert 4 examination and enrolling on a dispensing optician course, is also an in store trainer.
39-year-old Tracey Balfe has also passed her Cert 3 exams in optical dispensing. The optical assistant has been part of the Bexleyheath team for five years.
And the success doesn’t stop there. The store has also appointed Stefan Carney as a new hearcare partner. The 27-year-old has worked with Specsavers for four years starting out as an optical assistant before moving on to become a trainee hearing aid dispenser.
Staff were also celebrating the success of Joseph Ford who has now qualified as a hearing aid dispenser.

Store director Wouter de Wit, said: ‘I’m thrilled that so many of our people are progressing their careers at the store. We have a great team and it’s brilliant to see that their hard work and effort is paying off.’
Kayley Burdett also recently qualified as a first aider.
