Specsavers Bexhill recently held a bake sale in aid of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and raised £97.00 for the charity.
The event at the Western Road store was held to mark National Eye Health Week. The annual awareness week is designed to highlight the importance of keeping your eyes healthy – something which involves having regular eye tests.
A word from the store director
Rob Lofting, store director in Bexhill, said: ‘The team enjoyed baking a great selection of sweet treats, and our customers seemed to really enjoy tucking into them.
‘National Eye Health Week provides an excellent reminder of the need to take care of our eyes – so if you have not had a test for a while, why not book one online today.’
