Spotlight on finalists

Store manager Jayne Martin said, ‘It’s been a fantastic experience being involved in this brand new awards programme and we’ve enjoyed meeting some of the finalists at our store alongside their parents and friends.

‘Awards such as these shine a spotlight on local young people who go out of their way to contribute positively to the local community. It’s fantastic for the awards to have the backing of one of BBC Northern Ireland’s most famous faces, Barra Best and we commend Jacqueline and the Andersonstown News team who have put so much work into the project. We are thrilled to be involved.’
