‘I gained invaluable practical experience working full time for a year. In total I’ve completed two and a half years with Specsavers Craigavon as I also worked summers and weekends and have really built up a wide range of experience and developed my skills. I’m really looking forward to completing my year at Specsavers in Victoria Square. It’s a very busy store but the work is hugely enjoyable and very satisfying. I’m gaining important clinical experience and have fantastic support from the team here at Victoria Square.’
Specsavers structured pre-reg programme provides professional training towards becoming a fully qualified optometrist and includes residential courses, regional revision days, one to one mentoring, and hands-on workshops. Pre-reg graduates also gain hands-on experience across the full range of cutting edge optometry equipment.
