The team at Specsavers in Bedworth has been praised by thankful customers for their assistance in helping an elderly couple.
Mr Benn, 87-years-old, was delighted with the treatment his wife received when visiting Specsavers in Bedworth. Before her appointment, Mrs Benn was unaware that she should have been registered as visually impaired and needed specialised magnifying lenses.
The team noticed the couple’s distress and assisted them by providing information about visual impairments and referring Mrs Benn to Warwickshire Vision Support.
Mr Benn told staff: ‘We had tried everywhere, and this was the last place that we could have come for help, and you saved her.’
'Always pleased to help our community'
Store director, Gerry Hughes, commented: ‘We are always pleased to help the members of our community and it’s very encouraging to know we helped an elderly couple in need.
‘It’s also great to receive feedback like this about the team and we find comfort in knowing that our customers can come into store, be greeted with a smile, and find help whatever their issue may be.’
