On Sunday 24 June Specsavers in Bedford will hold a children’s only day with clinics for the boys and girls in the community.
Entertainment for your kids
As part of the day the store has organised for entertainments for the little ones, including a magician and a face painter, to keep them occupied while waiting for their appointment.
Ophthalmic director of Specsavers in Bedford, Rakesh Nanda said: ‘Nearly a third of children under 18 have never been for an eye test and early detection of any sight issues could prevent nearly half of all sight loss.
Keeping their eyes healthy
‘We really hope this children’s day will encourage parents to bring their little ones to get their eyes tested and keep them healthy.’
If you would like your children to take part in Sunday’s children’s day and have a free eye examination, call the store on 01234 348 944.
