Local twins Finton and Skyler Gowlett have won Batley Specsavers’ Disney competition and walked away with a treasure chest full of goodies. Over 30 children attended the in-store event this month.
Fun for all the kids
Specsavers in Batley ran a competition to celebrate the launch of its new and exclusive range of Disney inspired frames. Local children were invited into store and encouraged to colour in their favourite Disney characters to be in with a chance of winning a treasure chest full of arts and crafts, sweets, puzzles and more.
Finton Gowlett, age five, saw off the competition from 30 other children with his painted Storm Trouper. This was closely followed by twin sister Skyler who coloured in a picture of her favourite Disney character, Mini Mouse.
A word from the manager
Louise Croft, Batley Specsavers Store Manager said: “It was great to see so many local children get involved in the competition. It was fun for everyone and a lovely way to celebrate the launch of our new kid’s frames. Disney, Marvel and Star Wars are iconic household names and have provided entertainment for kids of all ages for many years. We expect that the new offerings will go down a storm with excited children in Batley.”
