An optical team in Barnstaple will be helping local children stay safe this winter by donating high visibility vests to every child* that comes into store on the Saturday 24 October.
On the day the team from Specsavers, located in Gammon Lane, will be holding a fun day in store to launch the new Frozen frames and be giving away high visibility vests ahead of the clocks going back the following day.
Emily Waters, store director of Specsavers in Barnstaple, says: ‘We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone in to store for our fun day.
‘We’re excited to show children our new Frozen frames featuring all their favourite characters and will be highlighting the importance of staying safe and visible at night by giving away gift bags and high visibility vests.’
Brake is a national road safety charity which exists to prevent deaths and injuries which happen on roads on a daily basis, through campaigns and other funding. The charity also promotes safe and sustainable road use and effective road safety policies.
