Staff at the Barnet store are in high spirits after being awarded Specsavers Platinum Employer status.
Investing in people
As part of the Platinum Employer Initiative, the store was accredited after proving that they are dedicated to investing in and developing the team.
The scheme, which supports Specsavers’ 2020 vision to be recognised as a great place to work, is validated externally and covers five key areas of people management standards from recruitment to employee communications and engagement.

Pragna Raghwani, director, dispensing and contact lens optician at the store, said: ‘We are thrilled to have been awarded Platinum Employer status. At the Barnet store we pride ourselves on offering staff a rewarding employee package which focusses on development and progression, all while providing exceptional care to customers.’
More than 350 Specsavers stores have been named as ‘Platinum Employers’ since its people development scheme began.
