Specsavers in Banstead has celebrated five years of testing the eyes of local residents.
Getting into the spirit of things
The store has marked its anniversary with a week of celebrations that began on Monday 29 September for its staff and customers.
Staff entered into the birthday fun by decorating the store head-to-toe in balloons and bunting and as part of the anniversary week every range of glasses was reduced in cost by 25 per cent.
Win a pair of designer glasses
To celebrate the milestone the store invited customers to enter into a competition to win one of ten pairs of designer glasses. Each customer that came into the store was entered into the competition and on Saturday 4 October a Specsavers piñata was burst open to reveal the names of the ten winners.
Giving back to our loyal customers
Glen MacGregor, store director of specsavers in Banstead said: ‘Celebrating our fifth birthday is a fantastic achievement – I honestly can’t believe we have been serving Banstead residents for five years already.
Glen continued: ‘Our anniversary week has been great and we’re so pleased to be able to give something back to our customers who have supported us since 2009. On behalf of everyone at the store I’d like to say how wonderful it is for us being part of such a vibrant local community.’
Following its fifth anniversary the store will be undertaking a series of fundraising initiatives in the coming weeks, including an event to raise money for Guide Dogs.
