Store director Wayne Watson, his wife Lynn and store staff made a special presentation of £1400 to Craigavon and Daisy Hill neo-natal and special baby units.
Wayne and Lynn, a teacher at Edenderry Primary School wanted to thank both hospitals for the care and support they had received when twins Isla and Micah were born prematurely back in 2015.
Year of fundraising
Over a 12-month period staff held raffles and coffee mornings and took on cycling events and 10k walks to help generate cash for both hospitals.
‘Without the expert and fantastic care of all the medical and nursing staff at Craigavon and Daisy Hill the twins wouldn’t be here, and we are incredibly grateful to both units.’
Store pays tribute to local customers for their support
‘We’d like to thank all the staff at both Craigavon and Daisy Hill for their incredible support. We really appreciate everything they did for us and for Micah and Isla. I’d also like to thank all our staff, patients, friends, family and everyone in Banbridge who has made donations to our charity totals.’
The funds raised will be used to help support the parental comfort fund, equipment purchase, training and education programmes in both baby units.
