Staff at the Ayr opticians have collected more than 130 Easter eggs which will be donated to West FM Cash for Kids.
Egg-citing chocolate treats
Specsavers in Ayr has made the egg-stra special donation in time for the charity to ensure disadvantaged children in the area have a chocolate treat this Easter.
Linda Fulton, store director at Specsavers in Ayr, said: ‘We’d like to thank locals who took the time to buy an extra egg for the Cash for Kids appeal.
‘Easter is an egg-citing time for children, therefore it was important to us to do what we could to ensure as many children as possible have a chocolate egg to enjoy.’
Last year, the store supported the West FM Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal, collecting more than 100 gifts which were distributed among disadvantaged children in the area.
Staff at the store also donned their best Christmas jumpers to take part in the Cash for Kids Christmas Jumper Day on 8 December to raise awareness and funds for the appeal.
Cash for Kids is the official charity of West FM, supporting disabled and disadvantaged children in Ayr and across West Scotland.
