The Ayr store has received a top industry award in recognition of the fantastic employee experience it provides.
The store on the High Street received the Platinum Employer accolade to honour its outstanding people management standards.
As an externally validated accreditation scheme, Specsavers’ Platinum Employer raises the bar of people management standards by focusing on five key areas - talent management; recruitment and induction; performance management and reward; learning and development; and employee communications and engagement.
Specsavers stores are reviewed periodically across these areas – and the Ayr team recently picked up the glittering honour.
Ayr store director Linda Fulton said: ‘We’re very proud to have met the criteria required to become a Platinum Employer.
