A longstanding member of staff at the Ayr opticians and audiologists has qualified as a hearing aid dispenser.
Passed with flying colours
Hannah Barclay who has worked at Specsavers in Ayr as an optical assistant for the past eight years, has now completed a two year course to become a hearing aid dispenser at the store.
Hannah will now be conducting hearing examinations and fitting locals with hearing aids.
Thomas Allison, clinical audiologist at Specsavers in Ayr, said: ‘Hannah has worked incredibly hard over the past two years to achieve her qualification and we’re delighted to have her as part of the audiology team.
‘As well as working at our hearing hub in Ayr, Hannah will be out visiting other stores in the area, such as Irvine and Stranraer, to conduct hearing examinations.’
The store’s hearing professionals can tell customers everything they need to know about the state-of-the-art digital hearing aids available as well as offering enhanced hearing services such as wax removal.
