The team at Specsavers Aylesbury are celebrating their new look store after a major re-fit.
The store has undergone a complete overhaul to provide optimum eye and hearing care for the local community. An additional six staff are also being recruited as part of this investment.
Alongside a new look, the store now also boasts a dedicated hearing centre on the ground floor, making it easily accessible for all. The latest technology means that the traditional reception desks have been updated to mobile, standing and seated service points. Customers will now be greeted and registered on tablet devices, which are also used to measure and dispense their glasses.
A word from the store director
‘We pride ourselves in offering the best possible eyecare service to local people and the re-fit will help ensure we can continue to excel in this area,’ said store director Ansar Asghar. ‘The interactive waiting area has already been met with plenty of positive comments along with the ground floor hearing centre which is in great demand.’
Specsavers in Aylesbury first opened in March 2002 with a team of just six staff, carrying out approximately 60 eye examinations a week. Today, a team of 36 carry out nearly 500 sight tests per week at the store, under the management of store directors Ansar Asghar and Ellen Conquest.
