Members of staff at Specsavers in Arnold wishing to step into leadership positions have benefited from a session with business coaching agency, The Retail Excellence Partnership (ReXP) to learn the skills required.
Teams from Hucknall and Chesterfield joined the four staff members from Arnold on the session provided by Kevin Jardine, coach from ReXP. It was aimed at those who are currently in supervisory roles or have no experience in management but have expressed an interest in gaining some.
The coaching centred around key aspects of leadership, including accountability and taking responsibility, KPIs and managing performance, and behavioural styles for people management.

‘The management training is one way that we can make sure that our staff are invested in, and we can ensure the best people are recognised and promoted within the business.’
