Specsavers Arbroath has donated 40 high visibility vests to the 1st Carnoustie Beavers to help the group stay visible to drivers.
The youngsters visited Specsavers in Arbroath to collect the vests shortly after their victory at the U12 Singing Games competition in the Arbroath Festival, which was held at the Webster Memorial Theatre.
Jamie Buchan, store director at Specsavers in Arbroath, said: ‘We were pleased to welcome the Beavers to the store and were even treated to an impromptu rendition of their winning song.
‘Their performance took place during our hearing clinic with one of the patients in a neighbouring test room delighted with their new hearing aids and how well they could hear the children sing!’
Kenny Lee, leader of the 1st Carnoustie Beavers, added: ‘Specsavers’ high visibility vests are fantastic and a really useful tool to help keep our group safe during trips.’
