Specsavers Antrim have got on their bikes to raise money for Marie Curie.
Seven staff members at the Specsavers store cycled in shifts for almost nine hours on Friday 27 March. It was all in aid of Marie Curie, the store’s chosen charity for 2015.
Over £500 raised
Store director, Davin Quinn, said: ‘Since we selected Marie Curie all the staff have been really keen to get involved and get fund raising. The Spinathon right outside the store was an excellent way to include everyone and to seek support from our customers and shoppers in the Mall. We were delighted to raise £524.91 for all our efforts and are now looking forward to the Swimathon in April.’
