Shukhwant Singh, 17, has joined Specsavers in Altrincham as an apprentice.
Learning the basics of the business
Shukhwant's training will include getting to know the internal Specsavers systems and being shown how to book appointments and search for customer records and information.
Shukhwant will also learn how to deliver Specsavers' excellent customer service, which includes effectively responding to basic customer enquiries and ensuring that each and every customer coming to the store is met with a friendly and helpful approach.
The training will also see her learn how to carry out pre-screenings, which take place before an optician’s eye examination.
