Specsavers in Alton was delighted to be awarded their Platinum Employer certificate this week by Regional Relationship Manager, Sally Willis.

Striving to be the best

The announcement follows an audit that recognises how the team at Specsavers in Alton excels with people management and employee engagement. Externally accredited, the initaitive of Platinum Employer - managed by Head Office - rewards stores that invest, develop and challenge their team members.

Focusing on five areas

The scheme covers five key areas of people management standards including talent management, recruitment and induction, performance management and reward, learning and development, and employee communications and engagement. Its objective is two-fold: to ensure colleagues are developed and rewarded, and to also guarantee their level of service is second to none with customers.

A word from the store director

Store director, Premesh Patel, is delighted to see his management team rewarded for its investment in staff.
