Specsavers Alloa were on hand at the town’s Christmas tree light switch on to give out hi-vis vests to ensure everyone could safely enjoy the evening.
Hi-vis vests donation
The opticians on High Street donated hi-vis vests to children who were waiting to see the Christmas tree lit up in all its splendour.
Every year Specsavers donate up to 30 hi-vis vests to nurseries, primary schools, and community groups across Alloa.
Call out for local groups
The store is urging any groups or organisations looking for hi-vis vests to get in touch.
Lynne Sangster, store director of Specsavers Alloa, said: ‘The darker nights are quickly drawing in which is why we like to allocate so many hi-vis vests to community groups or schools in need.
‘We knew that the Christmas lights switch on would be the perfect opportunity to hand out vests to children who would be there with their parents.’
