The Alloa opticians has unveiled its new-look store following a five-figure investment and celebrated with a festive launch party.
The programme of improvements to revamp the local Specsavers store took three weeks to complete. The new store layout was unveiled on 9 December with the launch celebrations taking place on Saturday 12 December.
Staff at the store donned Christmas jumpers and were joined by carol singers, with the store also raising £117 for Strathcarron Hospice.
Lynne Sangster, retail director of Specsavers in Alloa, said: ‘We are absolutely over the moon with the superb renovation of the store.
‘All our staff enjoyed our Christmas-themed launch party and I’d like to thank our customers who joined us to celebrate.
‘We wanted to combine marking the store’s new look with raising funds for a vital cause like Strathcarron Hospice which does so much great work for many families in the area.’
The store’s traditional reception desks have been replaced by mobile, standing and seated service points, and customers are now greeted and registered on tablet devices, which are also used to measure and dispense their glasses.
