The team at Specsavers Airdrie are encouraging locals to take care of their eyes and ensure their health checks are up to date as Autumn begins.
Airdrie eyecare specialists hope that people will take their advice to get their eyes checked and stay safe this season as the darker nights are beginning to creep in.
A word of advice from the store director
Andrew McGonagle, store director at Specsavers Airdrie, said: ‘It’s important to look after your eyes all year round and I hope that ahead of the darker nights everyone will check their prescriptions are up to date.
We encourage customers to have their eyes checked at least once every two years, as eye tests can not only detect changes in your vision but also underlying health issues. Keeping up to date with health checks is so important, and eye tests are a vital part of this.’
