The prize draw is open to anyone resident in the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland, subject to entrants under the age of 18 having the consent of their parent or guardian to enter the prize draw, excluding employees of the Specsavers Group, Accor UK Business & Leisure Hotels employees, Canal & River Tours employees or any third-party associates and members of their families, who are not eligible to enter this prize draw. Entries must be made online at by submitting the above website form only. A maximum of one entry per family is permitted. The prize draw will run from 17th October 2018 (the ‘Opening Date’) to 31st March 2019 (the ‘Closing Date’) inclusive. All entries must be received no later than midnight on the Closing Date. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be included in the prize draw. Specsavers accepts no responsibility for entries that are late or for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault. Confirmation of email transmission is not proof of entry. Entry into the prize draw is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. The draw will take place on or after 1st April 2019. The winner will be chosen at random from all entries received. The winner will be notified as soon as is practicable by telephone after the draw has taken place. If any winner is under the age of 18, Specsavers will contact the winner’s parent/guardian by telephone to confirm that they consent to the winner entering the prize draw and agree to accept the prize on the winner’s behalf, subject to these terms. The winner will receive the prize, which is: a two-night stay for a family of two adults and two children (aged 12 or under) in a two-bedroom apartment at the Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel & Spa with dinner & breakfast each day, 4 tickets to visit the Shakespeare Houses in Stratford-upon-Avon, a canal & river cruise aboard the Jennifer May & a free ice cream from Shakee’s Ice Cream Boat for each person. Prize is valid for 6 months from the notification of the winner & excludes the period 19th - 21st April 2019. Dinner excludes beverages.

Return flights (to include 1 item of hold luggage per person) for two children and two adults from Channel Islands to the UK are included if the winner is a resident of the Channel Islands and return flights for two children and two adults (to include 1 item of hold luggage per person) from the Isle of Man to the UK are included if the winner is a resident of the Isle of Man. Transfers to and from the arrival and departure airports are not included. No transport is included for winners resident in the Republic of Ireland or the UK. . The prize cannot be exchanged or transferred, and no cash alternative will be offered. The prize is subject to availability and to Mercure Hotels UK managed by Amaris Hospitality, The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Canal & River Tours and Shakee’s Ice Cream Boat’s own terms and conditions (‘Third Party T&Cs’). Specsavers shall have no liability to the winner or any third party for any inability of the winner to claim the prize of take the full benefit of it as a result of any of the Third Party T&Cs or any other reason.

Spending money and other items or activities not specifically set out above are not included in the prize. All extras not specified in the prize must be paid for by the prize winner. Travel insurance and visas, any necessary vaccinations, valid passports, spending money, departure and arrival taxes, local taxes, hold luggage, excursions, attractions, treatments and car hire and any other personal expenses are the winner’s responsibility unless expressly stated otherwise in these terms and conditions. Specsavers shall not be liable to entrants for: (i) any losses, damages or costs incurred or suffered as a result of the entrants entering the prize-draw promotion; (ii) acceptance or use of any element of the prize won in connection with the promotion; (iii) failure by the connected third parties to act in accordance with any promotion laws, rules and regulations; (iv) and/or failure by the connected third parties to deliver any element of the prize.
