Specsavers Gloucester has undergone a substantial refit as it looks to revolutionise customers’ experience in store.
The store has combined the latest eyecare and retail technology to provide a highly professional and ultra-modern service. The store now boasts two new optical consulting rooms, a bigger waiting area for the comfort of customers and dedicated spaces for both audiology and contact lenses.
Customers can now benefit from Digital Precision Eyecare, which is technology designed to streamline the customer experience to ensure they receive the very best professional care and advice in frame selection and dispensing for their prescription, vision and lifestyle needs.
The technology allows the optical team to help customers select their glasses following an eye examination. Imaging software on a tablet takes a photo of them wearing the glasses, which in turn captures a range of essential dispensing measurements. These are unique to the customer and their chosen specs.
‘We’re delighted with our renovation and it’s been great for customers to come and see it for themselves,’ said store director Paul Chessell.
‘By using the new imaging software, we can take customers’ specific dispensing measurements, so everybody who wants glasses can be confident they’re choosing a pair that suits them and fits perfectly.
