Staff from Specsavers in Yeovil invited their very own furry friend in store to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Importance of eye health

The store hosted a fundraising event and were joined by a local guide dog owner, his pooch and Vicky Junor, the community fundraiser for Guide Dogs in the Exeter area, who was at hand to talk to the public about the importance of eye health.

Guide Dogs Week

The store joined hundreds across the nation in fundraising for Guide Dogs Week between Saturday 4 and Saturday 11 October to support the charity which provides help for blind and partially-sighted people.

Community coming together

Store director at Specsavers in Yeovil, Jerry Shrubb says: ‘We were determined to raise as much money as possible for Guide Dogs for the Blind during our fundraising week. It’s important that our community comes together to support such a life-changing cause.’
